Here's yet another example of Shaq being Shaq, offering a little entertainment to the masses while satisfying his curiosity about all things life related. I've been a fan of O'Neal since he was at LSU, and have enjoyed watching his professional career progress from dawn to twilight. It has been great to see him understand his roles, be willing to submit to those roles, and just play the game he loves. Off the court, he has the inquisitive nature of a child, and the competitive nature of a 4-time NBA Champion.

Shaq enjoyed an opportunity that few people outside the technical musical realm are ever offered–the chance to conduct the Boston Pops. Sure, his patterns are a bit sloppy, and he's consistently up on the down, but you can't deny the entertainment value, or the "Sleigh Ride" offered by the Boston Pops.
